Regular Season Round 19: Osaka Evessa - Nagoya DD 79-78

The most exciting game of round 19 in the B League took place in Osaka. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of their biggest opponent Diamond Dolphins (10-9) to third ranked Osaka Evessa (10-9) 79-78 in the game for the second place. Diamond Dolphins cut a 15-point halftime deficit to one at the end of the game. American forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 21 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import power forward Xavier Gibson (210-88, college: Florida St.) chipped in 21 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). American forward Justin Burrell (207-88, college: St.John's) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and the former international point guard Takumi Ishizaki (188-84) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Osaka Evessa moved-up to second place, which they share with Nagoya DD. Diamond Dolphins lost third consecutive game. Osaka Evessa will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Diamond Dolphins will play at home against Yokohama BC and are hoping to win this game.
