No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked KK Zagreb (5-2) defeated at home 9th ranked Alkar Sinj (3-5) 80-71 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Alkar Sinj won third quarter 27-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KK Zagreb made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. KK Zagreb outrebounded Alkar Sinj 39-23 including 27 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was international point guard Luka Bozic (199-96, agency: Octagon Europe) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Guard Ivan Batur (201-91) chipped in 27 points and 9 rebounds. KK Zagreb moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Cibona. Alkar Sinj at the other side keeps the ninth position with five games lost. KK Zagreb will face league's leader GKK Sibenik on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Alkar Sinj will play against the league's second-placed Jolly (#2) and hope to win that game.
