Regular Season Round 4: Giants - Stingers 88-98

The game had a very big importance for sixth-ranked Stingers as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Stingers defeated 4th ranked Giants on the road 98-88. Stingers forced 29 Giants turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Randy Williams who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 rebounds and Devon Ferguson who added 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five Stingers players scored in double figures. At the losing side David Taylor responded with 26 points and the former international Michael Bain scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Stingers have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Giants at the other side still keep top place with one game lost. They share the position with Regulators. Giants will play next round against Shockers trying to get back on the winning streak. Stingers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
