Regular Season Round 3: Ramat Hasharon - H.R. Le-Zion 69-73

The game between Ramat Hasharon (1-2) and Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (1-1) was the most important one in the last round on Monday night. Ramat Hasharon was defeated by Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion in a tough game in Hasharon 69-73. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion forced 22 Ramat Hasharon turnovers. Guard Ashley Beverly-Kelley (168-93, college: Troy) contributed with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion players scored in double figures. Center Talia Caldwell (188-91, college: California) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 23 rebounds and swingman Jada Payne (188-93, college: E.Carolina, agency: LBM Management) added 12 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Ramat Hasharon. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion is looking forward to face Hap.Petah Tikva (#9) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Ramat Hasharon will play against Hapoel Z/MM and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
