Regular Season Round 12: Hoganas - Lobas 84-73

Hoganas' fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after nine consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Lobas (3-6) 84-73. Lobas were ahead by 1 point after three quarters before a 24-12 charge of Hoganas, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 20 Lobas turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian center Martynas Kuksta (203-89) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Lithuanian guard Aurimas Bulsis (196-91) who added 19 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Kasper Hagberg (185-98) with 21 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and guard Timmie Andersson (190-97) scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lobas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. It was the only win of host team this round and in all other games visitors recorded victories. Hoganas maintains twelfth position with 1-9 record. Lobas at the other side dropped to the eighth place with six games lost. Hoganas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Lobas will play at home against the league's second-placed Koping (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
