We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Castellon where 15th ranked Castello (3-8) was defeated by sixteenth ranked Magia Huesca (4-8) 72-65 on Tuesday. Magia Huesca outrebounded Castello 46-34 including 34 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian Jokubas Gintvainis (193-94) who scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Alberto Fontet (213-86) chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Borja Arevalo (195-91) who recorded 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and American center Alex Herrera (206-92, college: Fort Lewis, agency: Two Points) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Magia Huesca moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Prat and Marin. Loser Castello dropped to the sixteenth position with eight games lost. Magia Huesca will face Cocinas.com (#17) in Logrono in the next round. Castello will play on the road against Caceres Basket and hope to win that game.
