Regular Season Round 12: Shenzhen L. - Shandong GS 122-99

There was no surprise in Shenzhen where 9th ranked Shandong Bulls (6-6) were outplayed by fifth ranked Leopards (9-3) 122-99 on Tuesday. Leopards dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Shandong Bulls' 52. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Shandong Bulls' players. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jeremy Pargo (188-86, college: Gonzaga) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 14 assists and Polish-Swedish power forward Maciej Lampe (211-85) who added 19 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Jason Thompson (211-86, college: Rider) with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 14 rebounds and international forward Yanyuhang Ding (200-93) scored 29 points and 4 assists. Five Leopards and four Shandong Bulls players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Leopards have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Shandong Bulls dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. Leopards will face TianJin Steel (#14) in Tianjin in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Shandong Bulls will play at home against Jilin Tigers (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
