Regular Season Round 9: Noorteliiga - Kalev/Cramo 69-102

Bottom-ranked Noorteliiga is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to fourth ranked Kalev/Cramo (5-2) 102-69. The game without a history. Kalev/Cramo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Noorteliiga's players. Kalev/Cramo brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. The former international forward Erik Keedus (198-90) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and the former international guard Martin Dorbek (194-91) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was power forward Madis Soodla (205-97) with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Karl-Joosep Luus (200-98) scored 17 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Kalev/Cramo. Defending champion maintains fourth place with 5-2 record. Noorteliiga lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. Kalev/Cramo's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tallinn to the arena TLU/Kalev.
