Regular Season Round 12: Jilin NE T. - Bayi R. 102-109

An interesting game took place in Changchun where higher ranked Jilin Tigers (6-6) were upset on its own court by nineteenth ranked Bayi Rockets (2-10) 109-102 on Wednesday. Bayi Rockets made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Jilin Tigers' players. Worth to mention a great performance of center Hao Fu (206-97) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and international forward Yuchen Zou (203-96) who added 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks during the contest. Five Bayi Rockets players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American swingman Jabari Brown (193-92, college: Missouri) with 45 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and international guard Jinming Cui (193-92) scored 22 points and 5 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bayi Rockets moved-up to eighteenth place. Loser Jilin Tigers keep the eighth position with six games lost. Bayi Rockets will face higher ranked Liaoning Hunters (#5) in Yingkou in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
