Regular Season Round 8: SK Tirana - Peja 76-73

Important game to mention about took place in Tirana. Ninth ranked Albanian SK Tirana (3-4) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 10th ranked Kosovan Peja (3-1) 76-73 on Thursday evening. The hosts trailed by 9 points after three quarters before their 28-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. SK Tirana dominated on the defensive end, holding Peja to just 7 points in third quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of center Endrit Hysenagolli (206-88) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and American point guard Griffin Ramme (190-89, college: Chapman) who added 16 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four SK Tirana players scored in double figures. Bosnian-Kosovan guard Mirza Ahmetbasic (193-87, college: Abil.Christian) responded with 19 points and 7 assists and American forward Noah Dahlman (201-89, college: Wofford) scored 20 points. Despite that victory SK Tirana went down to tenth position (Group B) due to points difference. Loser Peja dropped to the ninth place with one game lost. SK Tirana will face higher ranked Sutjeska (#7) in Niksic in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
