Regular Season Round 13: Talje - RIG Mark 79-69

There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Talje Knights (3-6) defeated at home 10th ranked RIG Mark (3-6) 79-69 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by Talje Knights. RIG Mark was better in fourth quarter 23-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Quite impressive performance for power forward Michiel Petersen (204-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Swingman Oskar Holm (197-98) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Guard Ludvig Johansson (177-98) answered with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Kevin Senghore-Peterson (196-98) added 10 points in the effort for RIG Mark. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. RIG Mark's coach Michael Bree gave the chance to play for ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Talje Knights moved-up to seventh place, which they share with defeated RIG Mark. Talje Knights will face higher ranked Trelleborg (#5) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
