The most exciting game of round 10 in the Eredivisie took place in Amsterdam. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers Amsterdam (5-5) to sixth ranked Rotterdam (4-6) 83-81 on Thursday evening. At the losing side the former international point guard Aaron Roye (184-88) responded with 27 points and swingman Gian Slagter (193-91) scored 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Rotterdam and four Amsterdam players scored in double figures. Rotterdam moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Dukes UDB. Amsterdam lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with five games lost. Rotterdam is looking forward to face Dukes UDB (#6) in Den Bosch in the next round. Amsterdam will play on the road against the league's leader Groningen and is hoping to win this game.
