An interesting game took place in Campo Mourao where higher ranked Campo Mourao (4-3) was upset on its own court by eleventh ranked SKY/Basquete (3-3) 89-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Campo Mourao. The former international forward Marcus Vinicius Toledo (201-86) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. The former international Luis Felipe Gruber (206-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four SKY/Basquete players scored in double figures. American guard Greg Brown (188-94, college: St.Francis, PA) replied with 18 points and forward Wesley Henrique (197-94) added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Campo Mourao. Campo Mourao's coach Emerson Souza rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win. SKY/Basquete moved-up to eighth place. Campo Mourao at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. SKY/Basquete's next round opponent will be Mogi (#11) in Mogi das Cruzes. Campo Mourao will play on the road against Minas (#12) in Belo Horizonte and hope to win that game.
