Regular Season Round 13: Liaoning FL - Bayi R. 115-85

Very expected game in Yingkou where 18th ranked Bayi Rockets (2-11) were rolled over by fifth ranked Liaoning Hunters (10-3) 115-85 on Friday. Liaoning Hunters dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Bayi Rockets' 40. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Liaoning Hunters looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin) fired 31 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international Ailun Guo (192-93) chipped in 25 points and 6 assists (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). International forward Yuchen Zou (203-96) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and center Hao Fu (206-97) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Liaoning Hunters moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Bayi Rockets keep the eighteenth position with 11 games lost. Liaoning Hunters will face Shandong Bulls (#8) in Jinan in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Bayi Rockets will play at home against the league's second-placed Shanghai Sharks (#2) and hope to win that game.
