Regular Season Round 7: Fubon Braves - Pauian 76-73

Fourth-ranked Pauian (4-6) made lots of trouble for first ranked Fubon Braves (8-2). Fubon Braves managed to secure only three-point victory 76-73. However their fans expected easier game. Fubon Braves forced 29 Pauian turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Guard Wei-Che Lin (182-92) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. International power forward Tai-Hao Wu (203-85, college: BYU-Hawaii) answered with 8 points and 9 rebounds and international point guard Chia-Chun Wu (177-94) added 9 points in the effort for Pauian. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Fubon Braves maintains first place with 8-2 record. Pauian at the other side dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Fubon Braves will play against league's second-placed Yulon Luxgen in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pauian will play against Taiwan Beer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
