Regular Season Round 11: Hyeres-Toulon - Dijon 76-74

A very interesting game took place in Toulon. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 13th ranked JDA Dijon (4-7) to twelfth ranked Hyeres-Toulon (5-6) 76-74 on Friday evening. JDA Dijon was ahead by 5 points after three quarters before a 21-14 charge of Hyeres-Toulon, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American swingman Trevis Simpson (193-91, college: NC-Greensboro, agency: Three Eye Sports) who scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. William Howard (201-93) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. Hyeres-Toulon's coach Kyle Milling allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American point guard David Holston (168-86, college: Chicago St.) produced 14 points and 6 assists and naturalized Chadian forward Jacques Alingue (201-88) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Hyeres-Toulon and four JDA Dijon players scored in double figures. Hyeres-Toulon moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams. JDA Dijon lost fourth consecutive game.
