Regular Season Round 13: Guangsha L. - Jiangsu D. 104-86

Leader Zhejiang Guangsha Lions delivered the twelfth victory. This time they beat 12th ranked Jiangsu Dragons (6-7) 104-86 in Hangzhou. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Jiangsu Dragons. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Jiangsu Dragons' 52 and made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Courtney Fortson (180-88, college: Arkansas, agency: Three Eye Sports) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists. His fellow American import power forward Elijah Holman (208-89, college: Detroit Mercy, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Four Zhejiang Guangsha Lions players scored in double figures. American swingman MarShon Brooks (196-89, college: Providence) answered with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds and Jamaican power forward Samardo Samuels (206-89, college: Louisville) added 20 points in the effort for Jiangsu Dragons. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (12-1) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place, which they share with Shanghai S. Jiangsu Dragons at the other side dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Sichuan BW and Jilin NE T.. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will play against Guangzhou (#19) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Jiangsu Dragons will play against Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (#15) in Hangzhou and hope to get back on the winning track.
