Regular Season Round 9: Belfast Star - Eanna 63-67

We should mention about the upset which took place in Belfast, where 7th ranked Belfast Star (2-6) lost at home to tenth ranked Eanna (3-7) 63-67. Aidan Dunne nailed a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and guard Neil Lynch (180-93) accounted for 15 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Dillon Stith (200, college: St.Vincent) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds and international forward Keelan Cairns (211-92, college: Pennsylvania) added 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Belfast Star in the defeat. Eanna moved-up to eighth place. Belfast Star at the other side dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. Eanna's next round opponent will be higher ranked Killester (#6) in Dublin and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Belfast Star will play on the road against KUBS in Greendale and hope to win that game.
