There was an upset when higher ranked USE Basket (5-4) was outplayed on the road by fourteenth ranked Bottegone (4-6) 79-60 on Saturday. Bottegone outrebounded USE Basket 45-24 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Daniele Toscano (196-93, agency: Players Group) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Lorenzo Maspero (-98) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Four Bottegone players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Daniele Sesoldi (195-92) responded with 10 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Michele Bei (200-90) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bottegone moved-up to eighth place in B, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser USE Basket dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. Bottegone will face league's leader Omegna on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
