Very expected game in Santiago de Camp. where 10th ranked Rosalia (3-6) was defeated by first ranked Chantada (8-1) 71-60 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 11 points. Chantada forced 19 Rosalia turnovers. It was a great evening for point guard Miguel Caballero (182-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points. Montenegrin center Filip Knezevic (205-94) helped adding 12 points and 7 rebounds. Luis Lopez (189-96) responded with 17 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and guard Anton Bouzan (188-95) scored 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Rosalia's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Chantada. They maintain first place in Group A-B with 8-1 record, which they share with Leon. Rosalia lost their sixth game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with six games lost.
