The game in Brest was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Prinemanye (3-9) played at the court of eighth ranked Brest (2-8). Brest defeated Prinemanye 76-65 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Brest. Prinemanye managed to win second period 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was forward Dmitriy Dmitruk (198-81) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Pavel Moroz (193-88) chipped in 21 points. Four Brest players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Pavel Suvorov (185-95) who recorded 13 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Vladislav Svakel (178-0) added 17 points respectively. Newly promoted Brest maintains eighth position with 2-8 record. Prinemanye at the other side keeps the sixth place with nine games lost. Brest will meet higher ranked Vitebsk (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Prinemanye will play against GOCOR-Sozh and hope to secure a win.
