Regular Season Round 9: Reims - Arras 60-69

There was a minor upset when 5th ranked Reims (5-4) lost at home to seventh ranked Arras (5-4) 69-60. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was American guard D'lesha Lloyd (179-86, college: Clemson, agency: Regeneracom Sports) who scored 25 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Aminata Konate (169-90) chipped in 8 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Montenegrin center Natasa Popovic (192-82) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds and swingman Clementine Samson (181-91) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Arras moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Reims and Toulouse. Arras' next round opponent will be Dunkerque (#10) at home which should be theoretically an easy game. Reims will play against Aulnoye (#9) and hope to win that game.
