Regular Season Round 10: Milano Hikkaduwa - Piacenza 65-85

There was no surprise when 13th ranked Milano Urania (3-7) was outplayed at home by third ranked Piacenza (8-2) 85-65 on Saturday. Piacenza looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Ennio Leonzio (192-94, agency: Players Group) scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Giacomo Sanguinetti (180-90, agency: SPORTlab Agency) chipped in 13 points and 8 assists during the contest. At the losing side Nicolo Gorla (197-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and forward Tommaso Ingrosso (206-92, college: W.Texas CC) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Five Piacenza and four Milano Urania players scored in double figures. Piacenza have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of B leader, which they share with Bergamo and Orzinuovi GaGa. Loser Milano Urania dropped to the twelfth place with seven games lost. Piacenza will face Iseo (#16) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Milano Urania will play against Faenza (#6) and hope to win that game.
