Mark managed to secure a 9-point victory 74-65 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Norrkoping Dolphins. Norrkoping Dolphins trailed by 15 points at halftime and as many as 22 after three quarters before a 23-10 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 65-74 at the end of the game. Mark dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Norrkoping Dolphins' 30. Mark forced 19 Norrkoping Dolphins turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Tiasha Gray (170-94, college: Austin Peay St.) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 7 assists and 7 steals and international center Elin Ljunggren (185-96) who added 11 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Five Mark players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Lovisa Hjern (175-99) with 22 points and 5 rebounds and Finnish center Sofia Pelander (192-92) scored 9 points and 11 rebounds. Mark have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Norrkoping. Mark will meet at home KFUM Ostersund (#7) in the next round. Norrkoping Dolphins will play against the league's second-placed Alvik Basket and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
