Everything could happen in Thessaloniki at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked PAOK and 6th ranked Niki Lefkadas had identical 3-3 record. This time PAOK used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Lefkadas 65-58 on Sunday night. The hosts trailed by 11 points at the halftime before their 39-21 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. PAOK outrebounded Niki Lefkadas 35-21 including 24 on the defensive glass. American forward Korinne Campbell (184-88, college: W.Virginia) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Lolita Lymoura (180-85) chipped in 9 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. American forward Elan Brown (183-91, college: Vanderbilt) produced 13 points and 5 rebounds and forward Antigoni Chairistanidou (188-91) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. The victory was the third consecutive win for PAOK. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Panathlitikos. Niki Lefkadas at the other side dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. PAOK will face league's leader Olympiacos in Ellinikou in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Niki Lefkadas will play at home against Terpsithea (#12) and hope to win that game.
