Regular Season Round 11: Sant Nicolau - Mataro 75-65

Everything could happen in Sabadell at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Sant Nicolau and 13th ranked Mataro had identical 2-7 record. This time Sant Nicolau used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from 75-65 on Sunday night. Mataro was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 9-point lead after three quarters before a 31-12 charge of Sant Nicolau, which allowed them to win the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for forward Eduard Garcia (196-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Nil Angelats (185-93) helped adding 22 points. Guard Santiago Serrataco (187-90) responded with 31 points and 7 rebounds and Saikou Diallo (-98) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Sant Nicolau maintains twelfth place in Group C-A with 3-7 record, which they share with Olivar. Mataro lost their eighth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the fourteenth position with eight games lost.
