Regular Season Round 21: Fukushima - Cyberdyne IR 73-70

The most exciting game of round 21 in the B League D2 took place in Fukushima. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Cyberdyne IR (10-10) to second ranked Fukushima (13-7) 73-70 in the game for the second place. Cyberdyne IR cut a 19-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. It was a good game for American guard Cedric Bozeman (198-83, college: UCLA) who led his team to a victory with 9 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Shinya Murakami (172-91) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Rick Rickert (211-83, college: Minnesota) answered with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 17 rebounds and guard Maeda Yosuke (188-89) added 13 points in the effort for Cyberdyne IR. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Fukushima maintains second place with 13-7 record having four points less than leader Kumamoto V. Cyberdyne IR at the other side keeps the third position with ten games lost. They share it with Yamagata. Fukushima are looking forward to face Kagoshima (#6) in Renova in the next round. Cyberdyne IR will have a break next round.
