Very predictable result when first ranked Napoli Cuore (9-1) defeated at home 9th ranked Catanzaro (3-6) 90-78 on Sunday. Guard Andrea Barsanti (189-86) scored 25 points to lead the charge for the winners and Bosnian-Serbian forward Njegos Visnjic (199-79) chipped in 19 points during the contest. Napoli Cuore's coach Ciccio Ponticiello used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side guard Gianluca Carpanzano (188-95, agency: Players Group) responded with 21 points and 6 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and swingman Giorgio Artioli (196-95) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Five Napoli Cuore and four Catanzaro players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Napoli Cuore maintains first position in B with 9-1 record. Loser Catanzaro dropped to the eleventh place with six games lost. Napoli Cuore will face Teramo (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite.
