Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Cornella (5-5) was defeated on the road by second ranked Calvia (8-2) 86-69 on Sunday. The game without a history. Calvia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Calvia outrebounded Cornella 34-14 including a 26-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Cornella was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for power forward Jose Maria Morales (205-89) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Ivan Matemalas (194-80) helped adding 21 points.
