Regular Season Round 11: Valle de Egues - TAKE Tolosa 64-60

There was no surprise in Olaz where 14th ranked TAKE Tolosa (1-8) was defeated by tenth ranked Valle de Egues (4-5) 64-60 on Sunday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. TAKE Tolosa was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 22-17 charge of Valle de Egues, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for Javier Valderrey who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points. Ivorian power forward Kouassi Konan (204-91) helped adding 13 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Jon Azaldegi (190-91) responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Mikel Basterra scored 8 points and 4 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Valle de Egues moved-up to seventh place in Group A-A, which they share with Mondragon. Loser TAKE Tolosa keeps the fourteenth position with eight games lost.
