Another exciting game was played in Casalpusterlengo between seventh ranked Mantova and 8th ranked Piacenza where Mantova (6-4) beat Piacenza (5-5) on the road 78-73. Mantova forced 19 Piacenza turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward DeAndre Daniels (206-92, college: Connecticut) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Alessandro Amici (200-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American guard Kenny Hasbrouck (191-86, college: Siena) replied with 25 points and American-Guinean forward Robert Jones (201-84, college: Washington) added 9 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Piacenza. Mantova moved-up to fifth place in A2. Piacenza at the other side keeps the eighth position with five games lost. Mantova will play against Udine APU (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Piacenza will play against Bondi Ferrara (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
