Regular Season Round 10: Cefalu - Maddaloni 84-67

Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Maddaloni (1-8) was defeated on the road by eleventh ranked Cefalu (4-5) 84-67 on Sunday. Cefalu looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Maddaloni's players. Power forward Riccardo Malagoli (209-88) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Guglielmo Sodero (192-93) chipped in 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Cefalu players scored in double figures. Cefalu's coach Fabio Nardone used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side point guard Joshua Giammo' (190-93) responded with 14 points and 5 assists and swingman Alessandro Guagliardi (194-94) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Cefalu moved-up to eighth place in B. Loser Maddaloni keeps the fifteenth position with eight games lost. Cefalu will face Scauri (#10) on the road in the next round. Maddaloni will play against Roma S.Azzurra (#12) and hope to win that game.
