Regular Season Round 13: KFUM Blackeberg - AIK 59-77

Date: December 4, 2016
Bottom-ranked KFUM Blackeberg is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their eighth consecutive match to leader AIK (8-0) 77-59 on Sunday evening. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-59. It was a very good performance for the former international guard Serkan Inan (201-86) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Jonathan Gunnarsson (195-95) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four AIK players scored in double figures. Point guard Gino Panghulan (175-90) answered with 17 points and 8 rebounds and forward Simon Forsberg (197-90) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for KFUM Blackeberg. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for AIK. Newly promoted AIK maintains second place with 8-0 record behind leader Djurgarden. KFUM Blackeberg lost their eighth game in a row. They still close the standings with eight games lost. AIK will face KFUM Central (#7) in Stockholm in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. KFUM Blackeberg will play on the road against Jamtland II (#9) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
