The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Taiwan Beer's (5-5) victory over 5th ranked Pauian (4-7) 73-69. Taiwan Beer forced 22 Pauian turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and international Po-Hsun Chou (197-91) who added 17 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. International power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds and international swingman Chi-Wei Lee (192-93) scored 15 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Taiwan Beer have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 5-5 record. Pauian lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with seven games lost. Taiwan Beer will play against league's second-placed Dacin Tigers in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Pauian will play against Bank of Taiwan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
