Very important is a home loss of second ranked Tortona (7-3) against sixteenth ranked Viola RC (3-7) on Sunday night. Host Tortona was defeated by Viola RC in Tortona 77-62. They outrebounded Tortona 37-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. American-Jordanian guard Alex Legion (195-88, college: FIU, agency: Octagon Europe) notched 26 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and naturalized Argentinian swingman Agustin Fabi (199-91) supported him with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Even 17 points by American point guard Glenn Cosey (183-92, college: E.Kentucky, agency: Three Eye Sports) did not help to save the game for Tortona. The former international guard Davide Reati (195-88) added 8 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Tortona's coach Demis Cavina rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Viola RC moved-up to fourteenth place in A2. Tortona at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. Viola RC's next round opponent will be higher ranked Treviglio (#10) at home and it may be quite challenging game. Tortona will play against Agrigento (#11) and hope to win that game.
