Strangely Telstar outrebounded Etzella 31-19 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Swedish guard Stefanie Yderstrom (173-90, college: Miami, FL) scored 23 points to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Annick Neiertz (183-92) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Etzella players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Tasha Cannon (168-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and her fellow American import swingman Tara Booker (185-89, college: G.Washington) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Etzella maintains fifth position with 3-4 record. Loser Telstar stay at the bottom place with six games lost. They share the position with Residence. Etzella will meet at home Residence (#7) in the next round. Telstar will play against AB Contern and hope to win that game.
