Regular Season Round 4: Hapoel Z/MM - Ramat Hasharon 57-65

There was a minor upset when one of their biggest challengers Hapoel Z/MM (1-2) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Ramat Hasharon (2-2) 65-57 on Monday. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Center Talia Caldwell (188-91, college: California) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 20 rebounds for the winners. Guard Jasmine Thomas (175-89, college: Duke) chipped in 9 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Alex Harden (180-93, college: Wichita St.) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals and guard Kim Demmings (173-92, college: Wright St.) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Ramat Hasharon moved-up to fourth place. Newly promoted Hapoel Z/MM dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with Elitzur Holon and H.R. Le-Zion. Ramat Hasharon will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Hapoel Z/MM will play against Hap.Petah Tikva (#8) and hope to win that game.
