Regular Season Round 4: Al Ahli - Al Arabi 55-66

Another interesting game for Al Arabi (1-1) which played in Doha against Al Ahli (0-2). Al Arabi had an easy win 66-55. It looked good early as Al Ahli took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Al Arabi had a 19-16 second period charge getting the lead and Al Ahli was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 55-66. Al Arabi forced 21 Al Ahli turnovers. Nigerian-American power forward Manny Adako (203-87, college: Northeastern, agency: Court Side) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American-Ghanian Adamu Saaka (198-88, college: Furman) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Serbian power forward Nemanja Miljkovic (204-90) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds and Serbian point guard Branko Jereminov (186-87) scored 14 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. Al Arabi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Doha to the arena Al Rayyan.
