Regular Season Round 16: Rieker KN - Inter Bratislava 74-88

SBL top team - Inter Bratislava (13-3) managed to deliver another win on Wednesday. This time they beat seventh ranked Rieker KN (6-7) in Komarno 88-74. Inter Bratislava shot 60.4 percent from the field. Inter Bratislava had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Radoslav Rancik (205-79, college: St.Cloud St., agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 6 rebounds. Serbian guard Aleksandar Vlahovic (190-90, agency: 011 Sports) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava's coach Oliver Vidin used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Slovenian forward Sinisa Bilic (201-89) replied with 21 points and 5 rebounds and the former international Roman Vido (204-88) added 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Rieker KN. Inter Bratislava have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-3 record. Rieker KN lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with seven games lost. Inter Bratislava are looking forward to face Nitra (#10) in Nitra in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rieker KN will play on the road against the league's second-placed Kosice and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
