Regular Season Round 2: Champville - Louaize 92-94

Important game to mention about took place in Dik El Mehdi. Louaize (1-1) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging Champville (1-1) 94-92 in the game for the third place. International guard Geron Johnson (190-92, college: Memphis) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. American center Wendell Lewis (208-89, college: Alabama St., agency: HMS) contributed with 25 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Patrick Rembert (185-89, college: Cal-Irvine) replied with 40 points (!!!) and 4 assists and his fellow American import power forward Darian Townes (208-84) added 17 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Champville. Five Louaize and four Champville players scored in double figures. Champville's coach Ghassan Sarkis tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Louaize will play against Al Riyadi (#3) in Beirut in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Champville will play on the road against Tadamon in Zouk to get more than just one victory in their record.
