Regular Season Round 11: Crema - San Vendemiano 86-75

Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Crema (8-3) won against at home 14th ranked San Vendemiano (3-8) 86-75 on Thursday. Crema forced 22 San Vendemiano turnovers. San Vendemiano was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was power forward Thomas De Min (203-86) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Davide Liberati (190-91, agency: Players Group) chipped in 21 points and 4 assists. Swingman Cesare Barbon (192-98) produced 17 points and swingman Daniele Masocco (188-93) added 8 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Crema moved-up to fourth place in B, which they share with Cento and Faenza. Newly promoted San Vendemiano dropped to the twelfth position with eight games lost. Crema will face higher ranked Orzinuovi GaGa (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. San Vendemiano will play against Desio (#8) and hope to win that game.
