Very predictable result when fifth ranked San Severo (8-3) outscored on the road bottom-ranked Venafro (0-11) 78-53 on Thursday. San Severo dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Venafro's 20. They outrebounded Venafro 43-25 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Venafro was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was guard Leonardo Ciribeni (190-92) who scored 26 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Mauro Torresi Lelli (189-84) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four San Severo players scored in double figures.
