The game with biggest result difference took place in Byblos. Local Byblos (2-0) outscored Sagesse (1-2) 102-66. The game without a history. Byblos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Sagesse's 34. Byblos players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Sagesse's players. American guard Clay Tucker (196-80, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) notched 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and international Jasmon Youngblood (195-84, college: Kent St.) supported him with 20 points and 8 assists. Five Byblos players scored in double figures. Byblos' coach Nenad Vucinic felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 20 points by American guard Terrell Stoglin (185-91, college: Maryland) did not help to save the game for Sagesse. Guard George Yves-Daaboul (178-95) added 13 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Byblos' next round opponent will be Mayrouba (#8) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Sagesse's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Beirut Hoops Club.
