Everything went according to plan in Verona where seventh ranked Alpo VF (5-5) outleveled 11th ranked Pordenone (2-7) 77-56. The game without a history. Alpo VF led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Pordenone to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Alpo VF forced 19 Pordenone turnovers and had a 24-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. Bosnian Marina Dzinic (190-92) notched 17 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Sofia Vespignani (170-96) supported her with 12 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Four Alpo VF players scored in double figures. Alpo VF's coach Nicola Soave felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest.
