Roseto was defeated by F.Kontatto BO in a tough game in Bologna 70-76. F.Kontatto BO looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Point guard Matteo Montano (188-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Justin Knox (205-89, college: N.Carolina, agency: Two Points) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Knox is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. F.Kontatto BO's coach Matteo Boniciolli used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Adam Smith (185-92, college: Georgia Tech) answered with 22 points and 6 assists and the other American import power forward Brandon Sherrod (198-92, college: Yale) added 19 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Roseto. F.Kontatto BO maintains fourth place in A2 with 7-4 record. F.Kontatto BO are looking forward to face Piacenza (#8) in Casalpusterlengo in the next round. Roseto will play at home against Jesi and is hoping to win this game.
