Regular Season Round 11: Oulun NMKY - HBA-Marsky 99-69

Very expected game when 8th ranked HBA-Marsky (4-9) was rolled over on the road by fourth ranked Oulun NMKY (8-5) 99-69 on Thursday. The game without a history. Oulun NMKY led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Oulun NMKY outrebounded HBA-Marsky 48-32 including 18 on the offensive glass. HBA-Marsky was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Demondre Harvey (201-93, college: La-Monroe) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Zach Stahl (196, college: Northeastern, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Oulun NMKY players scored in double figures. Point guard Edon Maxhuni (183-98) produced 21 points and 9 assists and point guard Andre Gustavson (184-99) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. HBA-Marsky's coach Antti Koskelainen gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Oulun NMKY moved-up to third place in Division. Loser HBA-Marsky dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost. Oulun NMKY will face again HBA-Marsky (#9) in Helsinki in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
