Rather predictable result in Empoli where eighth ranked USE Basket (6-4) outscored 12th ranked Sangiorgese (4-7) 94-71 on Thursday. USE Basket made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was forward Filippo Mascagni (195-93) who scored 17 points. Gianni Terrosi (191-89) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Five USE Basket players scored in double figures. Point guard Filippo Rossi (190-98) produced 9 points and 8 rebounds and guard Simone Tomasini (196-93) added 14 points respectively for the guests.
