Top ranked BC Lulea (9-3) recorded its third loss on the court of sixth ranked Boras Basket on Friday night. Visitors were edged by Boras Basket in overtime 89-88. The hosts trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 21-15 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 1-point victory in overtime. Boras Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international center Michael Palm (210-79, college: W.Washington) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. BC Lulea's coach Peter Oqvist rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Boras Basket (7-6) moved-up to fifth place. BC Lulea at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. Boras Basket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BC Lulea will play at home against Nassjo and is hoping to win this game.
