No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Livani (6-6) won against at home bottom-ranked BJBS Riga (0-12) 88-75 on Friday. They outrebounded BJBS Riga 45-23 including a 28-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. BJBS Riga was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Eduards Viksna (198-93) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Matiss Pranevskis (180-98) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Livani players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Ingus Lapans (196-98) responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds and guard Ralfs Blankveins (190-98) scored 13 points.
