Regular Season Round 10: Roche - CFBB 62-46

Very expected game in La Roche where 12th ranked CFBB (2-8) was defeated by second ranked Roche (9-1) 62-46. It looked good early as CFBB took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Roche had a 18-10 second period charge getting the lead and CFBB was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 46-62. Roche forced 20 CFBB turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by CFBB helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Senegalese forward Mariame Dia (185-78) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Guard Johana Tayeau (173-89) contributed with 20 points and 4 steals for the winners. Roche's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Swingman Tima Pouye (176-99) replied with 10 points and 5 rebounds and Naomi Mbandu (185-99) added 8 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for CFBB. Roche have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Avenir. CFBB at the other side keeps the twelfth place with eight games lost.
